founded in 2003 Michaela Scherrer extended her creative vision into an accessory line of soft goods mi536. Expanding on that vision, the atelier at 536 is creating a design community, hosting diverse artisans and workshops transforming it into a vibrant hub where creativity flourishes.

In 2011. Michaela, a seasoned interior and product designer with 35 years of industry expertise and a commitment to nurturing young design talent met Yeran, a student photographer, on an architecture assignment. Numerous projects later, their relationship has blossomed into a collaborative art + design practice aligning in a collective vision to elevate and engage in the world of design.
